A sculpture of legendary Chen Wenlong is escorted to a ship for a visit to
the island of Mazu, Taiwan, from Mawei port, Fuzhou, east China's Fujian
province February 22, 2005. The trip is part of the joint celebration of the
traditional Lantern Festival between residents in Mawei and Mazu. Chen Wenlong
was a senior official of the South Song Dynasty (1172-1279), who led a fight
against invading Mongolian troops. He was later regarded as a sea god by the
