As part of the provincial government's efforts to present its new image as the resource-rich area in northern China, reporters from more than 70 websites and newspapers from home and abroad attended the event.

They will report on the province's practices and achievements on the innovative development of energy and traditional industry, the sustainable development of the resource-intensive areas, and the local government's efforts in attracting foreign investment.

The reporters will visit Taiyuan, Luliang, Linfen, and Yuncheng during the week-long tour from May 18-25.

The first online reporting tour was held May 11-18, 2006.
