A man donated a kidney to his wife to mark the 20th anniversary of their marriage last Thursday in Zunyi, Guizhou Province.

Late last year teacher Wu Dashu, 45, was diagnosed with uremia, a severe kidney disease that is fatal unless there is a transplant.

Her 50-year-old husband Luo Yufeng stepped up with the best present anyone can give: Life, through donating his kidney.
