A romantically inclined woman fell out of a tree earlier this month and needed to be hospitalized for fractured bones after picking osmanthus blossoms in Youyang County, Chongqing.

Qian Yu, 60, and her husband Tian Fan associated osmanthus with their early days together, 40 years ago.

Earlier this month they returned to Youyang, where Qian used to live, with the intention of rekindling memories of their courting days by picking the sweet-smelling blossom.
