A Guangdong Province "Mouse King" showed why he is the top rodent catcher by trapping dozens of mice in a couple of hours.

Li Jing was invited to an infested part of Mong Kok by a neighborhood committee that had been disappointed with mouse control work by the government hygiene department. Li and his assistants were not permitted to use poison, only devices such as cages and hooks.

Hearing of the Mouse King's success, experts said the government extermination workers needed to improve their skills. Using mouse poison, for example, is not as simple as it looks. "Mice are clever. They don't eat poison that has a human smell," an expert said.
