Year-old baby survives six-story tumble

A 13-month-old baby girl survived after falling from an open window out of a six-story building where she lived with her mother in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, on Monday.

After finding her lying on the ground below, her mother rushed her to a hospital for treatment. To the doctor's surprise, the baby girl only had a slight cerebral concussion and a few scratches on her arms. "She may have touched the soft earth below with her arms as she dropped off the building," a doctor surnamed Li said.
