Dai Wenhao, a 63-year-old farmer in Pixian, Sichuan Province, has become the oldest person in the province to pass all the examinations required to become a lawyer.

Dai, a former farmer, became a part-time worker at the Pixian county bureau of justice in 1983, after getting the highest score of all examinees who sat for the bureau's test.

After working for the bureau for 10 years, Dai decided to become a lawyer and started preparing for the examinations to get a license. He has passed 12 tests.
