An unnamed person ate 1 kg of oranges inside 2 minutes to become the champion of an orange-eating competition, held over the weekend in Guiyang, Guizhou.

Up to 5 kg of oranges were placed in front of each contestant and those who ate the most were eligible to win either TV sets, washing machines or 50 kg of oranges (not the top prize, obviously).
