A pair of young lovers almost broke up because of the girl's mobile phone ring tone in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, last Thursday.

The couple, Cui and Chen, who have been dating for more than a year, are an affectionate pair. But Cui became angry when he called his girlfriend last Thursday night and heard a man's voice saying "Louder please, I can't hear you", when the phone picked up.

Cui, assuming that Chen was with another man, then drove to her home seeking an explanation.

Cui gave Chen a slap and vowed to break up with her. He later regretted hurting her after he found out the facts. The culprit was the ring tone Chen has just set for her phone.
