A stray cat was found to be behind the incessant wailing of an alarm outside a bank in Nanjing, Jiangsu province recently.

Police who staked out the bank for a whole week found the prowling stray had been entering the bank's hall through door crevices, triggering the alarm that has been disturbing nearby residents.

The bank has since installed folding doors to prevent any cats from creating such disturbances.
