While visiting temple fairs has long been part of the Spring Festival routine for the locals and visitors in Beijing, the event organizers are trying to prevent it from becoming outdated.

Shijingshan Amusement Park, located in Beijing's western suburb, will start its eighth Spring Festival fair on the first day of the lunar New Year, February 7. Besides a collection of newly-completed rides and entertainment attractions, it will also feature several meet-n-greets for the singles.

Fourteen millionaires from different cities of the country will seek for love and marriage in public and show themselves at the seven day event. They will make self introductions, deliver their views on love and some will also show their talents and skills, the Morning Post quoted one organizer as saying.

The participants have gone through strict examinations on their identifications, properties and single status, the organizer said.
