It is really good for the whole country, especially for women and children, to be aware of the dangers of second-hand smoke. I hope the Chinese government will always keep an eye on these dangers, not only in the capital for the Olympics.

This won't last beyond the first major health scare. I think we should fight corruption first. I can see it now food producers will buy fake licenses and the inspectors will be easily bribed.

Because which is easier, working or taking a bribe and going home early?

'Cooking with gas'

Now that China is cooking with gas, China can set an example to use pollution-free energy in its motor vehicles by converting the gas into gasoline since China has discovered new gas reserves.
