Comment on "Japan MPs want war photographs removed" (China Daily, June 13)
Why should those war-crime photos be removed from the museums when they are depicting the truth?
Museums are the right places to display such photos. They are not being displayed in other public buildings or schools.
People should know history and photos are an effective means to depict exactly what happened in the past.

Comment on "Work with, not trash, China on climate change" (China Daily, June 13)
There is a quick fix to the problem. China and the US should work together on developing new technology for reducing greenhouse gases and other pollution.
The Chinese, strapped with cash, should invest in the US alternative fuel industry. Then the US can share the technology with the Chinese investors. Both countries can reduce their greenhouse gases.

Comment on "China's inflation rate hits 27-month high in May" (China Daily website, June 13)
It is surprising that the economy has been fluctuating so frequently this year. It is the very time that the concerned sectors should take measures to stabilize the situation.
The inflation of everyday foodstuff is so closely related to the lives of ordinary people that it will have strong impact on social stability.

Comment on "National Grand Theater to be completed in Sept." (China Daily website, June 12)
Maybe it cost lots. But I don't think it is worthy. No creation, no Chinese culture. I feel sorry about this. Why did the artist choose this type of theater as a Chinese building?

Comment on Liu Shinan's column "Time to defend teachers" (China Daily, June 13)
Teachers blaming and violently punishing students is not reasonable.
On the other hand, students teasing, mocking and even humiliating dedicated and merciful teachers is entirely deplorable.
