Pentagon hacking
Comments on "Pentagon hacking charge denied (China Daily, September 5)
Will a hacker be able to break into the system of - let's say - Shanghai subway? Of course not, because all computers with high safety requirements are not linked via the Internet, but through special, so-called private networks, which are not accessible from outside. This is specially true for military networks.
Of course the Pentagon has a webpage linked to the Internet, but that is totally separated from their internal network.
You will not find any sensitive information by intruding via the Internet. Every hacker knows that.

Not mutually exclusive
Comments on "China's new rich not healthy: survey" (China Daily website, September 6)
One cliche we take for granted is the so-called contradiction between making money and keeping healthy. But wealth and health are not that mutually exclusive as we allege.

You can exercise anytime and at anyplace if you so choose. It depends on what attitude you adopt. Some choose money over leisure.

I hope more people will take a cue from the West and explore yoga as a means to relieving their stress and health problems. Money cannot buy you health, nor can it buy you happiness.
But yoga provides a perfect path to physical health and peace of mind. That's why it's becoming so popular now in our chaotic modern times.
