Campaign of disinformation
It is a shame that the "free" media in the West give no information about the innocent civilians killed by the mobs in Lhasa. People here get the impression that the casualties are Tibetan freedom fighters.
That is not lack of information but well-designed disinformation. It is terrible and a great burden on the Dalai Lama group that young lives were ended by fanatics.

Sports should not be mixed with politics. It is time for many people to realize that their political differences should stay out of sports.
Some nations are trying to spoil sporting events by boycotts. Surely this is very poor sportsmanship because sports and politics should not be mixed and each should be dealt with separately.

After reading Western newspapers, books, articles and listening to Western talk shows, the conclusion is that many Westerners do not hold an objective view about China.
It is very rare not to hear the demonization of China in the West. Fear of China's emergence is also documented on some conservative websites. To destabilize China is one of their agendas. Do not be shocked if this Tibetan uprising is part of their plans.

The point should be noticed that the rioters got what they wanted - publicity, while some of the Western media was often less than good.
