电信业重组拉开帷幕。中国移动通信集团公司于近日发布通报，中国铁通集团公司并入中国移动通信集团公司，成为其全资子企业。

China Mobile released its acquisition plan of China Railway Communication (China Railcom), which would become the former's wholly-owned subsidiary but maintain independent operation.

中国移动于近日发布其对中国铁通集团公司的并购计划，铁通将成为其全资子企业，但保持独立运营。

The announcement confirmed a long-expected industry reshuffle involving another two smaller telecom service providers namely China Unicom and China Netcom.

该通告证实了期待已久的该行业重组计划，此次重组还涉及另外两家电信运营商，中国联通和中国网通。

上述报道中，industry reshuffle就是“行业重组”，那么“电信行业重组”就是telecom industry reshuffle或者telecom industry restructuring，年初实施的“政府机构重组”就是government reshuffle。Restructure强调的是结构的改变、重组，而reshuffle则强调人员、岗位的调整。 acquisition plan是“收购、并购计划”，在很多报道中都见过了，wholly-owned subsidiary就是“全资子企业”。
