Monks perform a Tibetan masked dance that
teach the faithful about the deities they will meet after death in Bardo,
the intermediate state before their next re-birth. The dance developed out
of a Tibetan drama, which began to develop in the 14th and 15th centuries
and became an independent performance art by the time of the fifth Dalia
