D3: Tsedang-->Samye-->Lhasa(Distance: 300km)
Leave Tsedang and drive 38km to visit the Samye Monastery, which is located onat the northern bank of Yalong Tsampo River. Then take a ferry to across the highest river in the world and move on to Lhasa. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

D4: Sightseeing day in Lhasa
Explore the mysteries of the ancient city. Visit Potala Palace and Jokhang Monasterymonastery, the most sacred places in Tibet. Then take a walk around the free market onin Barkor Streets. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

D5: Lhasa-->Gyantse (Distance: 265km)
Drive to the third largest town in Tibet, Gyantse. En route pay a visit to Nyangchu River, which is the biggest tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Upon arrival, visit the famous Kumbum and the Palcho Monasterymonastery. Stay overnight in Gyantse.

D6: Gyantse-->Shigatse(Distance: 90km)
Drive to Shigatse, an ancient city with a history of over 600 years. Enjoy the scenery on the way. After arrival, visit Tsahilhungpo Monasterymonastery, which is the second largest monastery in Tibet. The rest of the day is free to explore the old city. Stay overnight in Shigatse.

D7: Shigatse-->Dingri(Distance: 241km)
Enjoy the trip to Dingri and stop to take photos en route.

D8: Dingri-->Mt. Qomolangma(Distance: 60km)
Drive 25km form Dingri to Rongpuk Monastery (5200m above sea level)-the world's highest monastery and the best place to view Mt. Everest. Stay oOvernight in the Rongphu Monastery guesthouse.
