Rationalism then nationalism

I don't support a complete boycott because ordinary Chinese may face a potential risk of losing jobs for that. To the rich French boss, it doesn't matter he earns more or less, but to Chinese employees, it means payments or not.

And, most important of all, no one has ever shown solid proof suggesting the guy had connections with Dalai Lama. It's more important that Chinese netizens show their rationalism rather than nationalism.

Patriotism should be expressed wisely

China and France should mend their fractured ties by seeking mutual understanding and communicating better rather than approaching each other in more negative ways.

The countries were, are and hopefully will always be good friends. The French don't intend to upset Chinese people and this obvious misunderstanding between the two nations needs to be rationalized and fixed.

Patriotism should be expressed wisely. If not, it can damage one's country, its people and oneself.

If a major shareholder in supermarket chain Carrefour was really involved in supporting the Dalai Lama, we should consider a legal solution instead of a boycott.

One French person cannot represent the whole country. Many French people love China and the Chinese.

I will not go to Carrefour

Though I agree with the idea that we should do something rational to express our love for our country, as a Chinese I will not be shopping in Carrefour anytime soon.
