On March 15, China Daily reported a Wuhan Evening News' very short paragraph saying that "Wuhan University of Science and Education dismissed 17 students for cheating in an English examination," and is resolute in completely eradicating this fraudulent practice.

If this is going to be done, it is excellent news. I can't but congratulate the authorities who have enough courage to fight (alone for now but others will follow) this malpractice in China.

It is about time that serious action was taken. But punishment is not enough. Moral and social education is urgently needed.
