Migrant workers(China Daily)Updated: 2007-01-31 07:26 Comments on the story "Migrant workers 'have 20m' kids back home" (China Daily, January 29, 2007) If migrants must leave their children behind, I hope not children between 9 months and 4 years. Ann On China Daily website If the migrant workers can't have a stable residence and have to move around a lot, it is not good for children to move frequently as roots can't be established. If the migrant work is stable and children can stay in one place for a fairly long time, then it is OK for the kids to be with the parents.
