I read the news on Taiwan's textbook revision. (China Daily, February 1, 2007)

The separatist forces, which are ruling the island, now attempt to promote "Taiwan independence" by further cutting the links between the mainland and Taiwan.

What is even more ridiculous is that Taiwan's "National Palace Museum" removed all the labels that identify half a million exhibits as originating from the mainland.

However, fact is fact.

Both Taiwan and the mainland are parts of China. Both the people living on the island and the mainland are Chinese people.
