Angolan airliner crashes in north, killing 6(Xinhua)Updated: 2007-06-29 02:15 At least six people were killed and some others severely injured in an aircrash occurred on Thursday in northern Angola, Angola's official news Agency ANGOP reported. The Boeing 737 crashed when trying to land in M'Banza Congo, the capital of the northern province of Zaire bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the report, the airplane lost control when landing and crashed into a building. The airplane which took off from the capital Luanda was reportedly carrying 78 passengers. The cause of the crash was not known. |
