The two countries have agreed to promote bilateral trade and investment and private sector participation in the economies of the two countries.

"The Zambian government will ensure that the agreed issues of cooperation are constantly monitored to ensure timely implementation," said Zambian Deputy Minister of Finance and National Planning Jonas Shakafushwa at the signing ceremony.
