 The peace pole, with "May Peace Prevail on Earth" written in English, Japanese, Greek and Turkish on each of its four sides, will be planted inside the buffer zone of Nicosia, Cyprus.The International Day of Peace is marked in the UN buffer zone in central Nicosia on Sept 21, 2007. [Xinhua]
